Ingredients
- 150 g butter (soft)
- 100 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g Flour
- 0.5 tsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp matcha tea powder
- 150 g almonds (peeled, ground)
- 1 egg

Combine all ingredients for the shortcrust dough into a smooth mixture, wrap in cling film and chill for about 1 hour.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 5 mm using rolling pins and cut out shapes or slice with a small knife.

Place the shapes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, score a leaf pattern with a knife, and bake at 200°C for about 10 minutes. Let cool.
