Ingredients

  • 30 g Butter
  • 1 sheet filo dough (40x50 cm)
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • 200 g mascarpone
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 200 ml whipping cream
  • 300 g Strawberries
  • Orange zest (for garnish)
  • powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 220°C with upper and lower heat.

    Melt the butter and grease the wells of a muffin tin. Cut 16 squares (~10x10 cm) from the filo sheets; brush half with butter, sprinkle with sugar, and press the other squares slightly offset onto them. Carefully press into the wells, drizzle with a little butter, and bake in the oven until golden yellow.

    Remove, loosen from the molds, and let cool.

    Whisk mascarpone with sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat whipping cream to stiff peaks and fold in. Wash, trim, and halve or quarter strawberries. Fill the tartlet cups with mascarpone cream and strawberries, garnish with orange zest, and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
