Marinated Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breast fillets
  • 100 g vegetable onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 0.5 tsp cumin
  • 0.25 tsp ginger
  • 0.25 tsp cinnamon
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 pinch saffron
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

    Peel and roughly chop the vegetable onions and garlic cloves.

    Process with spices and 1 tbsp oil in an electric food processor into a paste.

    Wash, pat dry the chicken breast fillets and coat with the spice mixture; refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

    Heat remaining oil in a pan and sear the meat on all sides.

    Add chicken broth, bring to a simmer and cook for about 10 minutes.

    Slice the chicken breast diagonally into servings before serving.
