Ingredients

  • 1 Carrot
  • 0.5 celery root
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 0.2 l white wine
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 50 g marjoram (pickled)
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp peppercorns
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 4 carp fillets (very fresh, ready-to-cook at 200 g each)
  • cocktail tomatoes (halved)
  • thyme sprig

Instructions

    Peel and dice carrot and celery root. Peel onion and cut into rings. Add vegetables to boiling water. Add white wine, lemon juice, salt, and sugar; remove from heat. Marinate carp fillets with marjoram. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, preferably overnight.

    Arrange fillets on a plate, garnish with thyme and tomatoes, and serve with fresh bread.
