Ingredients
- 16 hard-boiled eggs
- 1.5 l orange tea (flavored black tea)
- 2 tbsp honey
- 30 g sugar
- 1 untreated orange
- 1 tbsp mustard seeds
- 4 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 dried mint leaves

Thinly peel the orange, then juice it. Boil the orange tea with sugar, honey, mustard seeds, orange zest and juice until the sugar dissolves. Gently crack the egg shells without peeling them. Place eggs in a large airtight container. Add star anise, cinnamon stick and mint leaves, then pour the cooled infusion over the eggs. Let the eggs steep for at least 1 day. Afterwards transfer to a decorative bowl.
