Marbled Cheesecake

- butter
- Semmelbrösel
- 1 kg quark
- 4 Eier
- 125 g weiche Butter
- 150 g Zucker
- 1 Päckchen Vanillezucker
- 0.5 Päckchen Backpulver
- 1 Päckchen Vanillesaucenpulver (Für ½ l Milch)
- 4 EL Grieß
- 0.5 unbehandelte Zitrone (Schale und Saft)
- 1 Prise Salz
- 4 EL Kakaopulver

Let the quark drain well through a sieve. Separate the eggs. Beat yolks with butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Mix in baking powder, vanilla sauce powder, semolina, lemon zest and juice into the yolk cream and fold in the quark.

Grease a springform pan with butter and line it with Semmelbrösel.

Preheat the oven to 200°C. Beat egg whites with salt until stiff peaks form and gently fold them into the quark mixture in portions. Divide the batter in half. Sprinkle cocoa powder over one half and fold carefully. Pour both halves into the pan and swirl with a spoon handle so that a marbled effect forms. Bake for about 1 hour (test with a toothpick). If the cake darkens, cover with foil.
