Malve Salad with Garlic

Ingredients

  • 4 bunches of Malve
  • 6 cloves of garlic
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 0.5 lemon (from specialty store)
  • 80 g olives (pitted, green)
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp piment

Instructions

    Wash and rinse the Malve leaves, then blanch them in boiling salted water for about 2-3 minutes with a crushed garlic clove. Drain and shock in ice water, then pat dry. Slice the remaining garlic cloves lengthwise into halves or thirds.

    Remove the flesh from the lemon and finely chop it. Cut the olives into slivers. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the garlic until fragrant; add the remaining ingredients, stir, and cook for 3-5 minutes while seasoning to taste. Spoon into bowls and serve.
