Ingredients
- 1 cube yeast
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 6 tbsp Olive oil
- 250 ml milk
- flour (for working)
- 8 tomatoes
- 1 Garlic clove
- 300 g shredded mozzarella
- olive oil
- 0.5 tsp dried thyme
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 100 g salami (small slices)
Instructions
-
1.
Whisk yeast with about 50 ml lukewarm milk until smooth. Put flour in a bowl, make a well in the center and add the yeast. Cover and let rise for about 20 minutes in a warm place.
-
2.
Add remaining lukewarm milk, salt, sugar and olive oil to the pre‑rise dough and knead with a hand mixer’s dough hooks into a supple dough. Cover and let rise another ~30 minutes.
-
3.
Meanwhile, steep tomatoes in hot water, peel, quarter, core and dice them.
-
4.
Peel garlic and finely chop. Sauté in hot oil.
-
5.
Add tomatoes and sauté. Stir in thyme, simmer for about 2 minutes, season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
-
6.
Take the dough out of the bowl, knead again on a floured surface and cut into four pieces. Roll each piece into a heart‑shaped pizza.
-
7.
Oil four baking trays or line them with parchment paper. Brush dough with olive oil and spread tomato sauce over it. Sprinkle mozzarella on top and drizzle with a little olive oil. Bake in a preheated oven at 220°C (fan) for about 15–20 minutes until golden brown. Cut small hearts from the salami, use heart‑shaped cutters to shape them, and distribute both the slices and hearts onto the finished pizzas. Serve immediately.
