The Loose Apple Cake from Spoonsparrow outshines all other cakes!
Ingredients
- 3 large tart apples (e.g., Boskop)
- 50 g butter
- 300 g filo dough
- 2 tbsp coconut palm sugar
Instructions
-
1.
Brush the springform with a little butter. Place two sheets of dough in the pan, letting the dough hang generously over the edges. Brush with butter and add two more sheets so that the bottom and sides are fully covered with filo dough. Peel, quarter, core, and dice the apples. Mix apple cubes with 2 tbsp coconut palm sugar and spread them over the dough. Then lay two additional sheets of dough on top, brushing them with butter. Gently fold everything together over the cake and brush the remaining butter on top.
