Apple crumble with oats from Spoonsparrow: This autumn dessert is crunchy and juicy at the same time! Who can resist it?
Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 40 g soft butter (+1 tbsp to grease the ramekins)
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds
- 40 g raw cane sugar
- 2 tbsp spelt whole‑grain flour
- 1 tbsp chunky oats
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
Instructions

Wash, peel, quarter apples, remove cores and dice. Toss with lemon juice and honey. Grease four ramekins with butter and fill with apple mixture.

Grind almonds with sugar, flour, oats, butter and cinnamon between your hands into crumbs and sprinkle over the apples. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the apple crumble from the oven and enjoy hot.
