Linguine with Chicken and Shrimp

- 500 g linguine
- 200 g shrimp
- 250 g chicken breast fillet (cut into bite-sized pieces)
- 150 g smoked sausages (cut into small pieces)
- 7 tbsp pureed tomatoes
- 150 ml chicken broth
- 1 large onion (finely chopped)
- 3 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 red bell pepper (finely chopped)
- 2 stalks celery (finely chopped)
- 2 Bay leaves
- 1 tbsp flour
- pepper (ground)
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- Salt
- Tabasco
- olive oil

Heat 4 tbsp olive oil in a tall pan. Sauté onion and garlic over medium heat until translucent. Add bell pepper, celery, chicken breast, and smoked sausage; cook while stirring. Sprinkle flour over the mixture and stir until all moisture is absorbed. Gradually add chicken broth while stirring. Stir in pureed tomatoes and bay leaves, then simmer on low heat for 1–2 minutes. Remove from heat and season with salt, oregano, and plenty of pepper. Add shrimp and let them finish cooking (do not overcook!).

Meanwhile cook the pasta in abundant salted water until al dente, then drain. Mix the pasta with the pan contents and 1 tbsp Tabasco. Taste again and serve immediately.
