Lentil Frisée Salad with Cherries

A fresh and vibrant lentil salad featuring frisée lettuce, cherries, and a tangy walnut oil dressing from Spoonsparrow.

Ingredients

  • 100 g Red lentils
  • 2 red onions
  • salt, lemon pepper
  • 1 head frisée lettuce
  • 200 g cherries
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 4 tbsp Walnut oil

    Cook lentils in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes. Drain, let them cool.

    Peel onions and slice into thin rings. Tear lettuce into bite-sized pieces, rinse and dry. Rinse cherries, pit and seed them.
