Ingredients
- 150 ml lemon juice (about 6-7 lemons)
- 3 tbsp grated lemon zest
- 150 g sugar
- ice cubes (optional)
- lemon slice
- herbs (for garnish)

Pour the lemon juice and zest into a bowl, add 300 ml water, cover and let steep overnight. In a pot bring 300 ml water to a boil with sugar, simmer for 10 minutes over low heat. Let the syrup cool slightly. Strain the lemon mixture into a bowl, add the sugar syrup, mix well, pour into a carafe and refrigerate.

When serving, add some lemon slices (and ice cubes if desired) to the jug, top up with the limeade, garnish with herbs and serve.
