Ingredients

  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 8 sprigs thyme
  • 2 lemons
  • Pepper
  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

    Peel and chop the garlic. Wash and dry the thyme; set aside a few sprigs for garnish, strip leaves from the rest. Rinse one lemon hot, cut it, and squeeze its juice. Mix lemon juice with garlic and thyme leaves. Season the mixture with pepper.

    Wash chicken breast fillets, pat them dry, split them horizontally, and coat both sides in a shallow bowl with the marinade. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.

    Heat olive oil in a pan. Sear the chicken breast fillets for 5 minutes over medium heat, turning once. Deglaze with 50 ml water, cover, and cook on low heat for another 5 minutes. Season with salt.
