- 200 ml lukewarm milk (3.5% fat)
- 0.5 cube Yeast (21 g)
- 4 fresh garlic cloves
- salt
- 150 g Gouda
- 150 g Sour cream
- 100 g Natural yogurt
- pepper
- Sweet paprika powder
- 4 Scallions
- 100 ml Rapeseed oil
Instructions
-
1.
Place flour in a bowl, form a well in the center, add 50 ml lukewarm milk and crumble yeast into it. Mix with a little flour and let rise covered for about 30 minutes.
-
2.
Meanwhile, peel garlic, finely chop and soak in 50 ml water.
-
3.
Add the remaining lukewarm milk, 150 ml lukewarm water and 1 tsp salt and knead everything into a smooth dough (you may need a little more or less water). Let rise again for about 30 minutes covered.
-
4.
Grate cheese. Mix sour cream with yogurt and season with salt, pepper and paprika. Wash scallions, shake dry and cut into rings.
-
5.
Oil hands, tear off small portions of dough and form small flatbreads (diameter 15-20 cm), stretching them thin. Heat oil in a deep pan or pot and fry Lángos for about 1 minute per side. Then drain on kitchen paper.
-
6.
Brush Lángos with garlic water and top with sour cream, cheese and scallions.
