Ingredients
- 700 g lamb meat (from shoulder)
- 0.5 lemon (juice)
- Salt
- 1 tsp ginger (fresh grated)
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 300 g yogurt
- 4 onions
- 2 Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp clarified butter
- 1 tbsp curry powder
- 0.25 tsp chili powder
- 0.25 tsp cinnamon
- 0.25 tsp clove powder
- 1 can apricots (drained weight 250 g)
- Salt

Cube the meat and mix with lemon juice and salt.

Mix ginger with strained yogurt and add to the meat, marinate for about 30 minutes.

Peel and finely chop onions, then sauté in hot clarified butter until translucent; add spices, cook briefly, then stir in the marinated meat.

Wash tomatoes, remove stems, puree, and add to the meat. Pour in about 250 ml water, cover, and simmer for about 40 minutes.

Drain the apricots, reserving the juice.

Halve the apricots and add them to the curry; if needed, top up with apricot juice. Season with salt and serve.
