Ingredients
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 3 Stalks Parsley
- 1 stalk mint
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp white bread crumbs
- 600 g ground lamb
- Salt
- 1 tsp organic lemon zest
- Pepper
- 4 red bell peppers
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 onions
- 100 g leafy salad (e.g., oak leaf)
- 12 mini hamburger buns
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the oven to grill mode.
-
2.
Peel and finely chop the garlic. Rinse the herbs, shake dry, pluck leaves, and finely chop. Mix the garlic, egg, and breadcrumbs into the ground lamb. Season with salt, lemon zest, and pepper; shape 12 small patties from the mixture. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-
3.
Wash the bell peppers, halve them, clean, and cut into strips. Lay the pepper strips on the tray over the burgers and season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with oil and brush the remaining oil onto the burgers. Grill for 3-4 minutes to brown, flip the patties, and grill another 3-4 minutes until golden brown (optional pink inside). Flip the pepper strips as well.

4.
Peel the onions and slice into rings. Wash, clean, shake dry, and tear the salad leaves into smaller pieces.
-
5.
Halve the buns horizontally and toast the cut sides under the grill if desired. Place lettuce on the bottom halves, add the patties, peppers, and onions, then close with the top halves.
