Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 carrots
- 200 g celery root
- 150 g cabbage leaves (e.g., savoy cabbage)
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 kohlrabi
- Salt
- pepper (ground)
- cumin (ground)

Peel and cut the onion, carrots, and celery root into pieces. Slice the cabbage into strips. Sauté everything together in hot butter until lightly golden. Add about 1.2 liters of water and simmer gently for about 20 minutes. Then strain the soup through a sieve into another pot and bring to a boil.

Peel the kohlrabi and slice it into strips. Wash some cabbage leaves and cut them into strips as well. Add both to the soup and let cook for approximately 10 minutes until tender.

Season with salt, pepper, and cumin before serving.
