- 2 tbsp vanilla sugar
- 75 g flour

- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 100 g quark
- 75 ml milk
- 750 g cherries
- butter (for the pan)

- powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
-
1.
Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Butter the pie tin.

Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the flour, salt, baking powder, quark and milk to the egg mixture and stir well.

3.
Wash, pit and drain the cherries. Toss them lightly with 1-2 tbsp flour so they don’t sink into the batter.

4.
Pour half of the batter into the tin, spread half of the cherries on top, then pour the remaining batter over it, smooth the surface and sprinkle the rest of the cherries on top.
-
5.
Bake in the hot oven for 30‑40 minutes until golden brown. Serve dusted with powdered sugar.
