Italian-Style Penne with Sausage

- 400 g penne
- Salt
- 3 ripe tomatoes
- 300 g broccoli florets
- 4 stems basil
- 350 g sausage
- 1 Shallot
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 50 g Pine nuts
- pepper (ground)

Cook the penne in boiling salted water until al dente. Wash, quarter, and dice the tomatoes, removing stems and seeds. Rinse the broccoli and blanch it in boiling salted water for 5-7 minutes; shock in cold water and drain well. Wash the basil, shake dry, tear leaves into fine strips. Remove skin from sausage and slice. Peel and finely dice the shallot and garlic.

In a hot pan with oil, brown the sausage, then add garlic, shallot, and pine nuts, sautéing for 2-3 minutes. Add tomatoes, broccoli, basil, and drained pasta; toss briefly and season with salt and pepper. Serve directly from the pan.
