Ingredients
- 2 cups Indian whole wheat flour
- 0.75 cup warm water
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 400 ml mango puree (canned)
- 1 pinch chili powder
- 1 pinch ground ginger

Add the flour to a bowl and gradually pour in the warm water, kneading until the dough is soft. Set aside, cover with a cloth, and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. Knead again well. Shape walnut‑sized balls and roll them into about 15 cm flat discs.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan and add a pinch of salt. Place a Puri disc in the pan, press down until it puffs up. Flip only after it rises, then bake briefly on the other side. Drain excess oil on kitchen paper.
