Ingredients

  • 200 g cranberries
  • 150 ml whipping cream
  • 150 g powdered sugar
  • 400 g sour cream
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 500 g dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. 1.

Rinse the cranberries and gently simmer them with the cream and sugar for about 5 minutes. Then puree finely with a hand blender and strain through a fine sieve. Let cool, fold in the sour cream and lemon juice, and freeze the mixture in an ice cream maker.

  2. 2.

When the ice is spreadable, pour it onto parchment paper on a tray to a thickness of about 2 cm, smooth it out, and place it in the freezer for roughly 1 hour. Then cut into cubes of about 2x2 cm and refreeze for another 30 minutes.

  3. 3.

Meanwhile, chop the chocolate and melt it over a double boiler. Let it cool slightly.

  4. 4.

Take the ice cubes from the freezer one at a time, dip them into the melted chocolate using a praliné fork, let excess drip off, and place on parchment paper. Freeze again for 30 minutes and serve immediately.
