A fresh and simple recipe featuring smoked herring served on rye bread with sliced onion rings, radish slices, and a bright egg yolk.

Ingredients

  • 1 smoked herring (Bornholm)
  • 1 slice rye bread
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 Radishes

Instructions

    Butter the bread, debone the herring, and spread it on the bread.

    Peel the onion and cut into rings. Arrange the onion rings over the herring. Gently place the egg yolk in the center and serve with radish slices.
