Ingredients

  • 1 old-fashioned roll
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 200 g Camembert cheese
  • 1 bunch thyme
  • 3 sprigs parsley
  • 800 g mixed ground meat
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp medium‑hot mustard
  • butter (for the dish)
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat.

    Soak the roll in lukewarm water. Peel the shallot and garlic, then dice finely. Slice the Camembert into thin rounds. Wash and dry the herbs. Mix the ground meat with the drained roll, egg, shallots, garlic, and mustard, then spread into a 1 cm thick rectangle. Top with Camembert slices and roll into a roulade. Place in a buttered baking dish and brush with oil. Sprinkle with herbs and bake in the preheated oven for about 50‑60 minutes.
