Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp plant oil
- 1 tbsp paprika powder
- 400 ml meat broth
- 450 g peeled tomatoes (1 can)
- 400 g firm‑cooking potatoes
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 300 g cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp Marjoram
- 2 Bay leaves
- Salt
- Pepper
- 12 small bratwurst sausages
- butter (for frying)
Instructions

Peel and dice the onion. Heat oil in a large pot, sauté onions, remove from heat, sprinkle paprika powder, and pour in meat broth. Add canned tomatoes with juice, bay leaves, and marjoram; simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes. Peel, wash, and cube potatoes. Halve bell peppers, remove seeds, wash, and cut into pieces.

Add potatoes and bell peppers to the soup and cook for another 15 minutes, then add cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, remove bay leaves. In the meantime, fry bratwurst in hot butter, place them in the stew, and serve.
