Ingredients

  • 600 g ground beef
  • 3 onions
  • 1 bunch parsley (finely chopped)
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • juice of one lemon
  • 1 lemon
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt
  • ground pepper (from the mill)
  • parsley (for garnish)
  • paprika powder (to sprinkle)

Instructions

    Peel the onions; finely chop one onion, slice the others lengthwise into thin slivers.

    Mix chopped onions, parsley, eggs, mustard, and spices with the meat, shape into oval patties, and fry in hot oil over medium heat until golden brown on all sides, keeping warm.

    Peel the lemon and cut it into thin slices.

    Cut a piece of lemon zest into fine strips.

    Sauté onion slivers in the pan drippings, add lemon slices, zest, and juice.
