Ingredients

  • 500 g green beans
  • Salz
  • 2 small onions
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 100 g diced bacon
  • 200 g Ground beef
  • 250 g peeled canned tomatoes
  • 250 ml vegetable broth
  • 125 g pickled peppers
  • 2 sprigs oregano
  • Pfeffer

Instructions

    Clean the beans and boil them in heavily salted water until al dente, then drain and shock with ice-cold water.

    Peel onions and garlic, dice them with bacon. Render bacon in a large pot, add onions and garlic until translucent, then add ground beef and brown it crumbly. Pour in tomatoes and vegetable broth. Simmer for 20 minutes over low flame, then add pickled peppers, beans, and oregano leaves and cook for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper again before serving.
