Ingredients

  • 0.5 cube yeast (about 21 g)
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • flour (for surface)
  • 1 onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 500 g mixed ground beef
  • olive oil
  • 1 tsp freshly chopped rosemary
  • 1 tsp freshly chopped thyme
  • 200 g passata tomato sauce
  • pepper (ground)
  • 150 g canned corn
  • 3 tbsp pitted black olives
  • 100 g freshly grated cheese (e.g., Gouda)
  • 3 eggs

Instructions

  1. 1.

Dissolve the yeast in 200 ml lukewarm water. Mix flour with salt and sugar, place in a bowl, create a well in the center, pour in the yeast mixture and oil, then knead quickly by hand into a smooth dough. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.

  2. 2.

Preheat the oven to 210°C (410°F) with upper and lower heat.

  3. 3.

Peel the onion and garlic. In a hot pan, crumble the ground beef with 2 tbsp oil, add the onion and garlic, stir in herbs and tomato sauce, season with salt and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes off the heat, then fold in drained corn and olives.

  4. 4.

Knead the dough again on a floured surface, roll into a rectangle (≈25x35 cm), place on parchment paper on a baking tray (30x40 cm). Spread the beef mixture over it, top with cheese, bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes. After ~10 minutes, crack the eggs onto the pizza and continue cooking.

  5. 5.

Serve the freshly baked pizza immediately.
