Grilled Tuna Lime Skewers

Fresh tuna and green bell pepper skewers grilled to perfection, served with a zesty lime-honey sauce. Try this and other recipes from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 600 g tuna fillet
  • 2 green bell peppers
  • 2 onions
  • olive oil
  • 2 untreated limes
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)

Instructions

    Rinse the tuna and pat dry. Cut into bite‑size pieces. Wash, halve, deseed, and cut the bell peppers into bite‑sized chunks. Peel and slice the onions into wedges. Alternate threading tuna, pepper, and onion onto wooden skewers. Brush with olive oil and grill, turning occasionally, for about 5 minutes until cooked through.

    Wash the limes hot, dry, and zest them. Squeeze out the juice. Mix both together with honey and 2–3 tbsp olive oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Place the skewers on a plate and drizzle with the lime sauce before serving.
