Grilled Steak and Pumpkin with Avocado Cream

- 1 Avocado
- 250 g cream cheese
- 100 g Sour cream
- Lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- 500 g pumpkin flesh (e.g., Hokkaido)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 4 slices beef steak about 180 g each (e.g., ribeye)
- 2 red chili peppers sliced into rings
- 2 tbsp spring onion greens sliced into rings
- 8 chicory leaves

Peel the avocado, halve it, remove the pit and mash the flesh with a fork. Stir in the cream cheese and sour cream, season with lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Transfer to a piping bag with a smooth tip.

Slice the pumpkin into thin rounds, season with salt and pepper, and grill in a skillet with 1-2 tbsp oil on both sides for 6-8 minutes.

Pat the steaks dry, season with salt and pepper, and grill them in a skillet with 1-2 tbsp oil for 4-8 minutes depending on thickness and desired doneness.
