Grilled Sausages with Leek

Ingredients

  • 4 sausages
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp raisins
  • 1 onion
  • 1 packet of roast sauce
  • 400 g leeks
  • 100 g whipping cream
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 500 g boiled potatoes
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

    Soak the raisins in 200 ml lukewarm water.

    Wash and trim the leeks, cutting the white and light green parts into about 1 cm wide rings.

    Peel the onion and dice it.

  4. 4.

    Sauté the leeks in 1 tbsp butter with a little water covered for about 4 minutes, season with salt and pepper, pour in the cream, heat and let reduce slightly. Roast the potatoes slowly in 1 tbsp butter until golden all around.

    Score the skin of the sausages and fry them in hot oil in a pan on both sides, remove and keep warm.

    Brown the onion in the cooking fat, add the raisins with soaking water, bring to a boil, stir in a little sauce thickener, let thicken and season with salt and pepper.

    Peel the potatoes. Arrange the sausages with sauce, creamy leek and potatoes on a plate and serve.
