Grilled Salad Side

Salad always works – especially fresh flavors pair well with grilled dishes. How about the salad side for grilling from Spoonsparrow?

Ingredients

  • 1 hard-boiled egg
  • 50 g fresh mixed herbs
  • 2 tbsp fruit vinegar
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 1 tsp herb salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 small head lettuce
  • 100 g radishes
  • 100 g cucumber
  • 1 green bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 100 g tomatoes
  • 100 g sheep cheese
  • 2 tbsp barley sprouts
  • 10 black olives

Instructions

    Peel the egg and dice finely. Wash, pat dry, and finely chop the herbs. Whisk vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, and mustard powder; add egg cubes and herbs to the dressing.

    Wash, trim, and tear the lettuce into leaves on a large platter. Wash radishes and cucumber; slice them thinly.

    Halve the bell pepper, remove seeds, and cube roughly. Halve tomatoes and cube loosely. Distribute all salad components over the lettuce.

    Drizzle the salad side with dressing. Roughly grate sheep cheese, sprinkle barley sprouts on top, and garnish with olives before serving.
