Ingredients

  • 800 g green beans
  • Salt
  • 1 tsp dried bean herb
  • 150 g pancetta (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp bread crumbs
  • Pepper (freshly ground)

    Wash, trim the beans and cook in salted water with the bean herb for about 8 minutes until tender yet firm.

    Slice the pancetta into strips and fry in hot oil with the breadcrumbs for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain the beans and season with salt and pepper before serving.
