  • 800 g green asparagus
  • Salt
  • 150 g diced turkey bacon
  • 30 g Butter
  • 375 g mozzarella (3 balls of 125 g each)
  • black pepper (freshly ground)

    Wash the asparagus, trim 2 cm from the ends, and cook in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes until al dente. Immediately transfer to ice water to preserve its bright green color.

    Brown the turkey bacon in hot butter until crispy. Grate the mozzarella. Arrange the drained asparagus in a baking dish, sprinkle with bacon, and distribute the mozzarella on top. Bake for approximately 15 minutes at 200 °C (180 °C fan‑forced; gas stove level 3) until gratinated, then serve hot.
