- 0.5 multigrain baguette (alternatively multigrain or pumpkin seed rolls)
- 8 pickled garlic cloves
- 1 silver onion
- 3 sprigs thyme
- 250 g Camembert cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
-
1.
Clean the silver onions, remove the root ends and peel off the skin; let the garlic cloves drain and cut them lengthwise in half. Heat the butter in a small pan and sauté the onions with the garlic until translucent.

2.
Slice the baguette diagonally into 8-12 slices.
-
3.
Cut the Camembert into the same number of slices as the bread. Place the cheese on the bread slices, then spread the onion-garlic mixture over them; wash the thyme, shake dry, tear finely and sprinkle over the loaves.
-
4.
Arrange the loaves side by side on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, season with salt and pepper, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 10‑15 minutes until the cheese melts.
-
5.
Serve the bread on wooden platters alongside wine.
