Gratinated Bell Peppers

Ingredients
- 4 yellow bell peppers
- 8 spring onions
- 80 g Black Forest ham (sliced)
- 8 cocktail tomatoes
- 125 g mozzarella (9% fat)
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions

Wash the bell peppers, halve them and remove seeds and white membranes. Wash the spring onions, trim them and slice into thin rings. Slice the ham into strips. Set aside some ham strips and green onion rings.

Wash the tomatoes, pat dry, cut off stems and slice into rounds. Drain the mozzarella and cube it.

Oil a baking dish lightly. Salt and pepper the peppers inside and place them in the dish. Fill with half the mozzarella and the ham and spring onions, top with tomato slices and sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella.

Season lightly with salt and pepper, add a little water, and bake in a preheated oven at 220 °C (fan 200 °C; gas: level 3–4) for about 20 minutes.

Remove from the dish and arrange on plates. Sprinkle with the reserved ham strips and spring onion rings and serve.
