Ingredients
- 150 g soft butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 120 g coconut blossom sugar
- 0.5 tsp vanilla powder
- 3 eggs
- 120 g Applesauce
- 350 g spelt flour type 1050
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1 kg tart apples (7 tart apples)

Beat the soft butter with salt, coconut blossom sugar and vanilla powder until fluffy; fold in the eggs, then stir in the applesauce and mix in the flour with baking powder.

Peel, quarter, core the apples and score the back side without cutting through.

Fill the dough into a springform pan lined with parchment paper. Place the apples in the dough and gently press them down. Bake in the oven at 200 °C (convection: 180 °C; gas: level 3) for about 45 minutes.

Remove, let cool slightly and serve dusted with powdered sugar if desired.
