Ingredients
- 1 kg turnip
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 400 ml Poultry broth
- 1 tsp sharp mustard
- white wine vinegar
- a pinch curry powder
- Salt
- white pepper
- 0.5 bunch marjoram
- 2 tbsp chives

Peel, trim, and quarter the turnips, leaving a bit of green on each piece.

Dice the onion finely. Sauté the onions and turnips in hot butter with sugar until caramelized. Gradually add broth, allowing it to reduce while stirring occasionally for about 15 minutes until the sauce thickens and the turnips remain firm.

Season with vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper, and curry. Finish by adding chives and torn marjoram leaves before serving.
