Ingredients

  • 4 smaller apples (e.g., Cox Orange)
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 tsp red food coloring
  • 0.5 tsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

    Wash and dry the apples, remove stems, and insert a wooden stick into each where the stem was removed.

    Quickly bring sugar, 80 ml water, food coloring, and vinegar to a boil in a small pot; simmer until the thermometer reads 150°C.

    Remove the pot from heat immediately. Dip each apple one by one, turning and rotating until fully coated with syrup, then place on a platter. Let glazed apples cool.
