Ingredients

  • 1 kg small potatoes
  • 20 garlic cloves
  • 3 shallots
  • 4 sprigs Rosemary
  • 40 g coarse sea salt
  • 40 g Olive oil

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 220°C.

    Wash the potatoes thoroughly, drain them and place them in a large baking dish with the pressed garlic cloves. Peel the shallots and cut them whole or in halves depending on size, then add them to the potatoes and garlic. Wash the rosemary, shake it dry and pluck individual needles. Mix the rosemary, salt and olive oil well with the potatoes, onions and garlic and bake in the oven for 40 minutes to 1 hour. Check if the potatoes are cooked using a sharp knife. The baked potatoes can be served as a side dish with grilled meat, fish or with herb quark.
