Garlic Ginger Oil

Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 cm ginger
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • a pinch turmeric
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • Salt

Instructions

    Peel the garlic cloves and ginger, then slice both into thin strips.

    Brown about half of the garlic in the butter until golden brown, drizzle with soy sauce, sprinkle turmeric on top, let it steep briefly, then remove from heat and allow to cool.

    Stir the remaining garlic, ginger, oil, and a pinch of salt together, serve warm as a dip.
