Garlic-Free Bruschetta

Spoonsparrow’s garlic-free bruschetta is always a hit.

Ingredients

  • 1 baguette
  • olive oil
  • 6 tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp Basil
  • 1 onion
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

    Wash the tomatoes, halve them, remove seeds and cut into small pieces. Mix with basil, onion, salt, pepper and balsamic vinegar. Let rest for 10 minutes.

    Cut the bread lengthwise and slice into wide pieces. Roast under a hot oven grill on both sides until golden brown. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Spread the tomato mixture over the toast and serve immediately.
