Ingredients

  • 2 shallots
  • 2 pickles
  • 8 Cherry tomatoes
  • 1 head of Lollo bionda lettuce
  • 200 g Gouda cheese (sliced)
  • 8 hamburger buns
  • 800 g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp spicy mustard
  • ketchup (from the tube)
  • mayonnaise (from the tube)
  • peppercorns
  • butter clarified oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1.

Peel the shallots and slice them thinly like the pickles. Wash, dry, and tear the tomatoes and lettuce into small pieces. Cut the cheese with a cutter to create large and small circles for eyes and face. Halve the buns. Mix the ground beef with mustard, salt, and pepper, then divide into eight portions.

  2. 2.

Shape each portion into a ball and flatten it. Heat clarified butter in a pan and fry the patties about 5 minutes per side until golden brown. Place lettuce on the bottom bun halves, then add the patty on top.

  3. 3.

Arrange onion rings, cucumber slices, and cheese circles to form a face. Put a tomato slice as the nose and use ketchup‑mayonnaise from the tube to shape the mouth. Top with peppercorns for eyes. Add the upper bun halves and serve.
