Summer, sunshine, fruit skewers! This recipe from Spoonsparrow not only brings bright smiles to children!

Ingredients

  • 150 g Strawberries
  • 2 ripe nectarines
  • 1 green apple (e.g., Granny Smith)
  • 200 g watermelon
  • 200 g honeydew melon
  • 200 g cantaloupe melon
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp liquid honey

Instructions

    Wash and clean the strawberries and nectarines. Cut the nectarines in half, remove pits, and slice into wedges. Wash the apple, dry it, peel, quarter, core it, and cut into bite‑sized pieces. Peel the watermelon, honeydew, and cantaloupe and cut them into bite‑sized cubes.

    Combine the melon pieces with the rest of the fruit. Wash the lemon, dry it, halve it, and squeeze out its juice. Pour the lemon juice and honey over the fruit mixture. Let it chill in the refrigerator for about an hour.

    Thread the fruit onto wooden skewers alternately and serve on a platter.
