Fried Bell Peppers with Cheese Filling

Ingredients
- 400 g bell pepper caps (small, hot, sour, pickled or larger peperoni)
- 6 pieces spreadable cheese or melting cheese wedges
- 2 Eggs
- 150 g flour
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan
- Salt
- 150 ml milk
- oil
- 100 ml ketchup
- 1 bunch parsley
- 1 large onion

Slice the bell pepper lengthwise so it stays whole, then remove the seeds. Wash, drain and fill with cheese.

Beat the eggs, add flour, Parmesan, salt, and mix with milk to form a thick batter. Coat the peppers in flour, dip them into the batter, and fry portions in hot oil until golden. Remove from oil and let drain.

Dip: combine chopped onion, parsley, and ketchup.

Serve the stuffed peppers with the dip.
