Fried Bananas with Almonds

Ingredients

  • 30 g almond slivers (3 tbsp)
  • 4 bananas
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 sprigs Mint
  • 15 g Butter (1 tbsp)
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

    Roast the almond slivers in a dry pan over medium heat until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

    Peel the bananas and cut them crosswise and lengthwise. Drizzle the cut surfaces with lemon juice. Wash and shake off excess water from the mint.

    Melt butter with honey over medium heat in a non-stick skillet. Place the bananas cut side down into the pan and fry for 2–3 minutes until golden brown, then flip and remove from heat.

    Distribute the fried bananas with almonds onto four plates. Garnish with mint and serve.
