Fluffy buns from Spoonsparrow: yeast dough always works! Try this simple recipe.

Ingredients

  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g butter
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

    Whisk the flour with the yeast. Warm the yogurt in hot water briefly. Beat together 3 tbsp sugar, salt, and egg. Gently fold into the flour mixture and knead until the dough no longer sticks. Roll out on a floured surface, cut into 16 equal pieces.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).

    Shape each dough portion into a round ball. Melt some butter, brush the balls all over with it, then place them tightly together in a baking pan. Let rise in a warm spot for about 20 minutes.

    Bake at 180°C (356°F) for 30 minutes until golden brown. Remove and immediately dust with powdered sugar before serving.
