Florentiner without candied fruits from Spoonsparrow: Here honey, almonds and dark chocolate unite into a delightful Christmas treat!

Ingredients

  • 150 g whipping cream
  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 50 g honey
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 100 g almond slivers
  • 100 g dark chocolate couverture

Instructions

    Bring the whipping cream with butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and honey to a boil, stirring often. Add the almond slivers and flour and cook briefly again. Pour onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and smooth.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (fan 160 °C, gas: level 2–3) for 10–12 minutes. Remove, cool and cut into small squares.
