Ingredients
- 1 Spring onion
- 600 g white fish fillet (skinless; e.g., cod, haddock)
- 2 slices of toast bread
- 50 ml heavy cream
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp freshly chopped dill
- 0.5 tsp Curry Powder
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- breadcrumbs (as needed)
- oil for frying
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Shallot
- 4 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 tbsp Sour cream
- 1 tbsp capers
- 2 small pickles
- 1 tsp sharp mustard
Instructions
-
1.
Wash, trim and slice the spring onion into fine rings. Wash the fish, pat dry and cube it. Soak the toast bread in the heavy cream. Blend the soaked bread with the fish, egg, dill, curry powder, salt and pepper until smooth. Fold in the sliced onions and adjust seasoning; if the mixture is too soft, add breadcrumbs.

2.
Form small patties from the mixture and coat them in breadcrumbs. Fry each side 3–4 minutes over medium heat until golden brown.
-
3.
Boil the eggs hard. Peel and finely dice the shallot. Combine mayonnaise, sour cream, chopped capers, diced pickles, diced eggs, mustard, salt and pepper; mix well and serve with the fish patties.
