Ingredients

  • 600 g white fish fillet (e.g., cod or pollock)
  • 1 Egg white
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 4 Tbsp breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 150 g almond flakes
  • 6 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

    Wash the fish fillet, pat dry with paper towels and cut into small pieces. Combine with the egg white and lemon juice in a blender and pulse until not too fine.

    Mix the fish mixture with the breadcrumbs to form a cohesive dough; season with salt and pepper. Shape 8-12 patties with wet hands, coat each in almond flakes. Fry slowly in oil over medium heat for about 3 minutes per side.
